Warm up events are set for the Amateur Disc Golf World Championship

The much awaited 2014 PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championship is coming soon. We’re lining up what would be construed as “Time Trials” to assure our round timing. We are looking at running three rounds per day on some courses during the week so here are our scheduled PDGA events leading up to the big show:

6/1/14    CP Adams in Hastings – Rick Sanders tournament director 651-895-9793
6/7/14    Oakwood Open in Cottage Grove – Rick Sanders tournament director
6/21/14  Shakopee Open in Shakopee – Tom Marcus tournament director 612-990-6638
6/22/14   Viper’s Valley Open in Inver Grove Heights – Rick Sanders tournament director
6/28/14   Kenwood Trails Open in Lakeville – Tom Marcus tournament director
6/29/14   Kaposia Days Open in So St Paul – Mike Snelson tournament director 651-484-5035

[notice]These events are capped at 90 players.[/notice]

Preregistration is highly encouraged. We can have both pro and amateur players at each event unless the tournament director requests otherwise.

The courses will be set as if the Amateur Worlds were happening that day. Each course will have special tweaks to enhance speed of play and/or difficulty. Anticipate a second round change-up, especially at Kaposia. If you are competing in the event this will be your best opportunity to practice the course in its “Worlds Configuration”.
